We use the toshiba pocket pc up here at work, it is pretty sweet, it can play all media formats, and some of them have wireless, toshiba products are top notch too.

I've heard pretty good stuff about the Axim. At work I have an iPaq, but after using for a few months the novelty wore off and I haven't picked it up in about 6 months. I've never been much for planners or PDA's. A tablet PC on the other hand, would rock!

I have a sony Clie that I really like. It's my first PDA, so I don't have much to compare it to.

I have a Dell Axim X5 400 MHz. IMO, you get more bang for the buck with the Dell and I think on there website they have an area for refurbished units so you could probably save a little more there. I'm waiting to replace mine once Dell starts offering Bluetooth on there Axims.
