View Full Version : which DVD burner?
Sony or Pioneer?
My home player must have - R so 8X isn't a big deal as I don't think - R media is available. Pretty much all burners are both format now so that's not an issue, just looking for brand preferences and recommendations?

From what I have read they are supposed to be pretty badass.

Without a doubt, Pionee A06 or the new A07.
I've only had my A06 for a month and it burns like a champ w/ no fragged disc's yet.
Super reliable, compatible, badass drive. Cheap too.

I also agree the Pioneer A07 is great, but you also may want to check out the Plextor 708A.
