Gutting the dash and removing the A/C system (Anyone need any A/C parts?)
Install an electrical kill switch.
Apply graphics (numbers, sponsor stickers, sanctioning body stickers, etc...)
First race of the 2004 NASA AI season is coming up in March and the car needs a few last touches to get it legal.

Interesting: I am completely redoing the front half of the S10. All glass now with a 5" outlaw cowl hood. I like it when they go all the way to the Glass. It weigh's aproximatetly 23 pounds, that includes everything.....Just 1 piece and 12 quick connects and the whole thing comes off! Very nice to work on when time is vital. Not to mention the brand new 408 that is going to make the S10 see new times! We will see just a couple of more week's.;)

It should weigh in at 2575 or so, the clip doesnt weigh that much less than the stock clip by the time I ad all the support's to brace it. I am going to leave it Orange only with no flames. Still deciding on what to do about this!

It's very convienient to work on, I may be taking off around 50 pounds max! Now I can work on it alot easier when I am in between rounds. It suck's when they start hot lapping you down in the last feaw rounds. Makes it cool alot quicker with the whole front end off too. I am putting my 2" header's back on too. It's alot easier to change the oil this way. Before with the normal header's I had to pull the front tube off just to wedge the oil filter out between the A Arm and steering column! Now that I am putting the fender header's on it wont take but about 10 minut's instead of 30 to change the oil.

I got everything in to put the motor together, and measure for my pushrods. Hopefully it will be together by this weekend. If we get some nice weather next week, I will sandblast, primer, and paint the engine bay. Once it dries I will start mounting and wiring my ignition, timing retard box, and my plate kit.

I should have my junk ready for primer this weekend, i put the engine in w/o bolting up the c4 first, so i gotta pull it all back out and bolt everything up so it's a breeze to drop in. Picked my paint color too, i'll be picking up the gallon of ready-mix tomorrow, so hopefully by sunday night i'll have a majority of the car ready. Body work is done, i'm waiting on 1 spot to dry so i can sand it down. Still a ways from being done, too. :(

I started my car for the first time in 2 weeks......... Only project I have going on is to put some slapper bars on it. Basically ony doing it so I can raise the bottom shock hole up some............its rubbing against my wheel from time to time. The slappers will bring the bottom bolt hole up considerably. Well............are you getting any excitement yet?:p

I've got my motor and tranny in now!!! Supposed to be getting a XX trim this weekend. I need to install my gauges, wire up my Gen 7, give it a base program, and take it to the dyno. Hopefully by the end of the month or early next month. If I'm lucky:)
