Lan Party Again!!!!

Okay guys we have had a blast back in the day playing some ET and Various other games.... I think I am going to try and pick up Halo for this one as well...


But what I am looking at is feb. 21st or Feb 28th


From when ever to when ever on those days.... I think last time we went from about 11am till about 6am :D

We will need

Patch Cables
Fans
Power Strips
and a good switch
tables and your chair if you want


After people show up we will do a soda/beer and food run...

I do need a good track of who is coming and what they can bring... I try to keep from having a cluster at the end of the day :D

I have SDSL 1.1 and server plenty of storage space to share files if needed.


Rather than pm me about info please email me at jwatkins@watkinscc.com so that I can organize everything easier and post here will be good as well.

After we have all the finall details set I will send my address out to the attendees...

Haha, josh your know im in. Anything to rape your bad ass connection. I can bring one 6 foot table for sure. I have 2 of them. Fits 2 pcs really nice plus LOTS of room. I need to know if we need one or two, because my dad is using the other one temp.

I can bring some small cables. like 3-10 footers. I also have a 8-port 100mbit switch.

We also need a list of games. I can get whatever, just need a list. all legit ;)

well I don't have any tables.... so what ever you can get will be great.... depending on the showing this time will be how many tables... adn we definatly need a few extra fans.... I can't freeze my wife out of the house :D

Any Counter-Strike involved?

If so I could host the servers I have 2 servers I could bring over and 1 main over the Net. I could provide all the Ethernet cables I have a 500-Ft. spendle I need to use. I have an 8-port Gigabit switch if anyone can keep up with the speed and a couple other 8-port hubs and switches.

Let me know whats happening.

yeah it is 200 zipped and like 445 meg uncompressed but damn it is sweet.. I will have it for everyone at the lan...

I will have one of my servers dedicated to run what ever server we need... I will preinstall it with ET and try and get a ut2k3 server setup on it as well....


As far as counter strike goes.. I am not a fan.. but doesn't mean they will not play it.... we will only need patch cables for the pc's to switches/hubs I have several and I think I am going to run a drop in the front room... though I am sure I will just be lazy and run a long run accross the floor again :D

Games we will keep it open but I can tell you the majority of time will be spent on Enemey Terrritory (Free) and Fun :D

I will have a server up and running for this as well as a couple other games I have...
