Actually Manny had him covered but he redlighted. I have talked to the guy with the Chevelle a few times. He is a cool guy. That is a damn nice car also.

Andrew ran at least one 6.50 I saw for sure. It ran good but I think he had a rough spot in it still but he would have to say for sure.

After 3 years of running my 383 it had its first major problem today. Not sure exactly what it broke yet but have an idea it lifted a ring land.
It doesnt overheat and has 45 psi oil pressur at idle, no water in oil or oil in water but it is blowing oil smoke heavy out of the driver side breather along with a little knock up top and a dead miss. I will find out tomorrow.

On a good note it was a little slick first run on motor and went 7.22 @ 100 with a 1.74 60'.

Then they called first rounds so instead of slip in slide I pilled it down to 225 and did a massive burnout and she left like a whore in church had a 1.45 60' got about 100 or so feet out belched through the carb and I lifted and drifted to the back door for a 8.98@60 and put her on the trailer.

Bad day for many of us on the broken parts. 5 broke rearends of sorts that I know of. 2 or 3 broken or damaged motors and the guy that set it up didnt even show or say anything to anyone.

But it was still fun as hell and a lot of fast cars where there some in the 5s even on the slick track. I met 93LXHorse first time "Cool guy"!

Good to meet you man sorry we didnt get to run maybe in a week or two may be safer if we all run on a warmer day! lol

No he wasn't tubbed. My cousin raced him in the final in the Capri. He ran 6.50's I believe. The capri had a hard time hookin up. Fell off a tenth not that, that would have beat him, but it would have made it closer at the top in. Beat us by .18

sandbagging or not, he wouldnt have had anything for manny, he was scared to run him in the semi, the only reason he won was because of the redlight. manny could have had a .750 light and still coverd him

spankustang. What was running 5's was a lil 281 mod motor:) .
No it is not tubbed. It still has power windows and everything.
And the trans brake did not hold the car so it rolled through the lights.

I agree. My 6.2 @ 114 later in the night as the tuneup got closer to where it needed to be felt better.
