polishing tenholes

ok i saw a pic of some polished tenhole wheels and was wondering if any one who has done it was willing to tell me how what i need and the way to get the best resalts

Lots of sandpaper from at 200 grit to 2000 grit and some aluminium polish. A sander comes in handy when doing this or it takes FOREVER, I bought a Craftsman 3D Sander with disc's, but I'm not to crazy about it for Polishing.
