What does everyone think weight gainer. If that's what the stuff is called.
I've been trying to put on lbs for about 5 months now... made a few post about it and it comes down to eating more.
But I've only put on about 13lbs in the past 5 months.
Is this decent? Should I gain faster then this?

13lbs, if all lean, is excellent in my opinion. That is a little over 30lbs a year.

No kiddin', I'd love to pack on 13lbs of lean mass over the next 5 months. Hell, I'd even like half and half.

Well I started at 145lbs and I'm 156lbs now, guess it's more like 11 lbs. Was at work when I started this post, so I didn't have exact numbers.
If lean mass is gain without gain of gut, that's what the 11lbs is. :D
My goal is around 200lbs by the end of this year.. think it can be done?
I plan to step up my diet, and starting eating even more again.

It gonna be based on:
1. Genetics
2. Training
3. Diet
4. Dedication
You can do everything possible to meet 2,3,4, but you are stuck with what you got for 1.
With good (maybe great genetics), absolute perfection in 2,3,4 (without steroids), I'd say the most you are going to be able to gain is about a pound a week at the most.
Middle of the round would be maybe a half pound a week. Something I think everyone could do with the proper dedication to training and diet with even average genetics.
So, that's a range of 26-52 pounds a year, in your case from 156 to 182-208.
I'd probably shoot for something between 190-195 as a goal, but don't beat yourself up if you make 180-185.
If you fall below 180, then it most likely was your dedication, not your genetics that did you in.
Here is an purty good article about how much lean mass you can expect to gain.

Good luck!

I used to take one scoop of weight gainer 1850 about 15 minutes before working out and I noticed a huge difference in my energy level throughout the workout. That one scoop is a partial serving according to the instructions though, but it had about 25 - 30 grams of protein and like 115 g or carbs at that serving.
They want you to take 3 scoops as a serving which ends up making 5 servings per container at about $35.00 per container. Ouch! it definately tasted good though.
Here is the 1850 numbers....
Total Fat 16.25g
Saturated Fat 9.8g
Cholesterol 99mg
Total Carbohydrates 354g
Dietary Fiber 0g
Sugars 141g
Protein 74g
Sodium 816mg
Potassium 1645mg
Here is the 2200 Gold numbers
Total Fat 16.25g
Saturated Fat 10g
Cholesterol 120mg
Total Carbohydrates 444g
Dietary Fiber 5g
Sugars 144g
Protein 72g
Sodium 792mg
Potassium 2520mg

I use the 2200 gold myself.
I'm pretty happy with the results.
I was pretty dedicated to lifting as well as eating a good diet.
I started at 187lbs and got as big as 199lbs. It took me almost 4 months to do so.
But...
I got a really bad infection in my body and went back down to 183 lbs. After all that hard training.

No you will not be up to 200 within a year. Unless you take some type or horomonal supplement or straight steriods.
