When I drove a stick every day and was running my 12s on the stock motor, I would say I was one of the better ones. Probably not now though...lol
Also I would vote for MattB on this board. Ive ridden with him and he definetely knows how to shift
Though I have never ridden in a car with him driving, I would also say Beej must be pretty good based on what times he has run in his white car.

I am pretty good also, but how would you be able to verify it unless someone gave up their 5 speed car for everyone to compare times to.
I am not volunteering mine BTW. LOL:D

i think to be considered for this one needs to be driving a car that is really running fast ETs with a LOT of power. for example andrew or jordan. anyone can powershift and drive a moderately quick car. i can't imagine how crazy it would be to pilot a 5/6 speed car into the 10s or 9s. i'd probably wet my pants.

HAHAHA! I definitely have to put votes out there for MattB, Beej and Andrew. I can't shift for shit anymore.. Solid hub clutch won't allow it :( ..
But here's a vid of a nice an semi sticky RPS clutch from a while back - just don't mind the 3-4 shift.. It was a bracket race ~ and I had it won already :D .

The people I know that can shift badass on this board are FreakZ and Andrew. There is very little improvement on being any faster then those two. I'm sure there are people like Jordan that can shift equally as fast though I have not seen him run yet, but I know he's a good driver. I would say I am a very good shifting I took a Z06 w/F1 cam and an exhaust on street tires and ran 11.7 @ 125 beating TAMU in a heads up drag race with him on DR's and 20 more dynoed rwhp. that was only a 2.00 60'.

After going through 8 t-5s (world class, t5z, super duper alloid gear, 2.95 1st...etc-although all had small problems when I got them) I bought a 3550.
That tremec held up to about 4 years of WOT launches, 1.4x 60fts, and 10 second passes @ 135-138mph with ease.
I never missed a gear-although after being out of the 5-speed scene ( in Mustangs) since 02, I have had a fun time driving the womans 93 cobraized lx with its delicate gearbox.
Yeah, my vote to Andrew, although I'm sure he'll agree in a drag situation auto is the way to go. Theres a vid or two floating around of him making a few passes. In car cam...

To the members of DFW, I apologise for this fool who obviously has nothing better to do than follow me around on misc. forums and attempt to bash me.
Now, mr. chargedblownup, grow the fuck up. How many 34 year old assholes make new accounts strictly for the purpose of trying to belittle people? How many drive around like they are 16 years old and feel the need to haul ass from each and every stoplight?
How many are stupid enough to create a name like "chargedblowncp"....
Last I checked with the department of redundancy department a charger and a blower were the same thing, unless you're running a turbo and a blower on the car.
How many need a nitrous kit and an s-trim, and still haven't driven better than high 11s?
Wow, I'm impressed....
Once again I apologise, lets get back to the topic at hand, please ignore this interruption by a fool who is obviously out of place.
