Well we took "86 393"'s car to Keith Craft today and it was well worth the trip.
This is a True Street car...393 cu...inspected and street legal car.
We found 60 hp on motor alone!!! Worth every penny of the dyno time. Ended up at 458 rwhp n/a...not bad at all. Our jetiing was WAY off...even though it ran fine during normal driving. The dyno adds a whole new twist to the picture. It is the highest load you will ever subject your car to. Dyno time is WELL worth the $$$...what would you normally pay for 60 hp in bolt ons???
We then tried to spray the No2 to it but the dyno did not like that.
We did get a 711 rwhp reading on No2, probably correct but not 100% sure.'
Just wanted to say thanks to Jay Johnson for staying late with us and helping out whenever needed! Keith, Rob, Drew, and Chris (I think was his name)...thanks to you guys also...it was a great time.
7200 rpm under full load....nothing like it!!

Thanks Relinquished...we were real happy.
When we built the engine we were hoping for a touch over 500 at the flywheel so I think we got it!!!
Call them guys up...they are not buried in dyno time and very nice to deal with.

Not necessarily true. It depends on how much your car weighs... if you have a heavy car, a 1:1 pull on the street will load your engine more than the dyno will.
Good #'s though!

It has been to the track many times...NMRA Dallas, WFC, Bristol and Dallas FFW.
It always ran good on nitrous but seemed lazy on motor and also had horrible 60ft times. Thats why we went to the dyno.
Best on hose is a 9.65@142 at WFC...and 10.99 on motor at FFW Dallas.
Now its time to hit the track again and sort out the 60fts. 1.49-1.55 is not good for a mid(ish) 9 sec car!!

Just got the progressive comtroller in yesterday. No more hammering 300 to with a button. Time to work on a consistent 60 ft. with the car
