680hp to the wheels with a stock block and crank, and with 4 cylinders. Not even the mighty LS1 can do that and stay together for long.

I'm going to call BS on that one:) The Talon was out in front by then. The video showed 1.5860ft btw. Likely those numbers were from an outlaw race where they take pro stock cars and thrown in a 1200hp Ecotec engine.

Shep rules. Bottom line :D He is one driving machine. I never thought he would make it into the 8's, but he did it! He has trimmed about a full second off his previous best time this past season. I can't wait to see what's in store for this year.

John Shepperd's mullet is equally as impressive as his car!

You must be thinking of someone else because he doesn't have one of those.

He did back in the day when I met him at the diamond star shootout.

Ah, well its gone now. I think Buschur might have one though? Aside from that, its a really clean street class car.

Did I miss something here? The timeslip you posted D.R.S is not the same one that was showed at the end of the tape?

And the car on the right has some screwed up times. Did you do the photoshop on that one or what?

That car will be here this year around August at the motorplex :) not that any of ya care :D It has a full T4 and has a built factory 5 speed tranny. 165 is moving no matter what kind of car it is. It was just featured in Hot Rod Mag last month and they said the same thing.
