a thousand foot track would be cool, but i cant see how that can be possible the way the track is set up now with the turn around

Whats the conversion on a 1000 to 1320 (doh!) ET wise anyway?

Maybe they're gonna start the track back further? Isn't that what Denton did?

If Kennedale turned into a full 1/4, i would never go to ennis again.

well.. 1000 ft. is useless. So NO - Stay 1/8 Mile... I can promise there will be wrecks due to people who dont know when to let off.

well as long as the timeslips still says the 1/8 mile times and the mph I could careless.

The only reason we all vote for 1/4 cause ennis is so far away. I know its asking alot, but it there is money there to make. And I can for sure you, yall would make your money back 10 times.

I agree 100% - if Kennedale turns into a 1/4 mile the money would poor into that place. As for the 1000 ft. I should have said.. I could care less either... as long as the 1/8 e.t.'s are still there...

1000 ft. is like running a 350 meter sprint at a track meet. What's the point? The times would be meaningless to anyone.

You want to put cars in the lanes, go full 1/4. The 1000 foot is nice..........but as people said, the times dont mean a whole lot.
The money to convert to 1320 will be paid back in dividends of all the guys who want a 1/4 mile timeslip but who dont want to drive to ennis. Myself included.

I would never go to Ennis is Kennadale was a quarter mile track. Buy the other pasture and extend it. Besides...........where the hell do you get a conversion chart from 1000 ft to 1320 ft:confused:

The funny part is that all the kids that run it now and tell everyone that their car runs 9.5 in the quarter will now be giving 1/2 mile times. LOL!:D
