There's really not much to spill the beans about. Unless you find a crank, pistons, and new bearings, gaskets and stuff interesting

What's so secretive about a crankshaft, and bearings? My old motor went bad so don't you think I need to replace the bearings? Plus I mentioned this when it initially blew but, two of my pistons have valve marks on them. So I'm replacing them.
It's not like I'm gonna set the world on fire by replacing bad parts.
Sheesh, Just because you won't even admit to changing your engine oil doesn't make me a blabber mouth. :p

Maybe they should be called "slow stripes" since all the fast cars don't have them, and all the junky slow ones do.

LOL! Man why in the fuck do LS1 parts cost so fucking much? I mean come on, that roating assembly isn't any better than a good stroker kit for ford, i guess because ppl will buy them and the demand is high.

Last time I checked, Ross pistons with stock rods, stock crank all balanced cost a tad more than the above....even if you bought it used..:) I saw those pistons a few weeks ago and ALMOST bought them, it was a good deal.
Did you already buy your NOS kit? When I put mine on the TA a year ago, I just pieced it together with crap around the house..works good though. Yep, it has had a bottle this whole time..:)
