Killed a tubbed Grand Am at Denton Saturday sounded like it had a small block but it ran like ass I think it's hands down the funniest thing Ive ever beat. I thought he was gonna blow me away when I staged but I tree'd him and I thought any time he'd shoot by me but he never could keep up. :D

It's funny; sometimes looks can be deceiving.

I ran a 2nd gen camaro that had the carb sticking up through the hood (tunnel ram?) and was camming hard - thought for sure he'd kick my tail - I launched and ran off and left him (and my car's not that fast).

If it was one of the old style grand ams - those things are tanks.

What kind of times do you run?

Yes it was one of the old style grand am's like an '80 something
thing barely had enough HP to put out any smoke on his burnout
My new best time is 9.23 @ 78.03, In good air I usually do 9.30's but last saturday I was running solid 9.20's

Hey that camaro you was talking about did it happen to be blue? if so I think I may have seen it.

we were at denton saturday night too.we were parked next to the grand am.we was in the black primered ss nova running 7.40s at 94 mph.it actually is not primerd it is just faded really bad.that car was slow as hell.i think i seen it finally run a9.30.:)

What do you drive? I was out there with PhantomSS and OrangeS10. That thing was funny to watch.

Yes it was funny, I would have been embarrassed to drive it.
You see something thats tubbed you figure it would at least run in the 8's or faster, it probably had a 305 out of a '80 something camaro with dumps LOL!:D
