Finally!!!!!!!! I had to wear my helmet tonight! :D :D
Had my best time so far on my "stock" Mach1 of 8.57 @ 82.4
It's not "LS1" stock yet, but I'm slowly geting there.
How much time should I expect to trim off with changing gears to 4.10 from 3.55 with better upper and lower arms?

what kind of tires are you running on? the gears will only help if there is traction. otherwise you'll just spin more. the control arms should help the launch some.

My damn 60ft still suck.......best so far is 2.003!
I did 1.86 in my GT with Nittos and stock rear susp.!

actually you might have warmed them too much, nittos are known for not needing much warming up...throw some slicks on that mofo...;)

Get slicks, 4.10's and some Quality control arms with spherical bushings and not urethane.

Launch the piss out of it and you might see some 8.1's. Drop a shit load of weight and 7's are in your future.

Hell, I trapped 82.5 with about the same power as you have "stock" but my 60's were down in the 1.66 range.

If you go 4:10's , you will need slicks. You will just light them up.

I can't think of a damn thing besides nitrous to help my car right now.:( Don't have enough hood clearance for a spacer, just put the combo together so I don't want to replace the cam. Just put the tranny back in, so the convertor is not coming out anytime soon. Next year I may go with a 3500 stall convertor. (or nitrous:D )


Hell I didn't bring a helmet.............didn't think the slug was fast enough.:) Well I haven't been sent home since the Mustang........it was kinda nice.

wearing your helmet is just a good idea anyways. You never know.If Im in my car, I wear my helmet, if Im driving someone elses car I wear a helmet, even if it runs 9.0's

You never know when something could go wrong, or the other car could vear across and hit you.

cali emissions is a biotch....the tune was the best mod I did.....and that was also before drag radials/slicks....I had a hard time getting under 9 sec eigths on those.....for refence check the rampage road vid where I get sideways at K-dale in 3rd gear......

Like I said in my first post: I'm not LS1 stock.....yet!

DRs and exhaust???? That's cosmetic more than anything in my eyes!
I'm trying to remember what Lane ran on his first run at Ennis...........13.7 or so maybe 13.5..........I dunno, that been over 3 1/2 years ago. I'm sure I can beat that!
