new best time at redline

i pulled a best time at redline today. the time was..........



1.74 60 foot :mad: got to get 10 inch wheels for slicks
7.53 ET
91.8 MPH

aint to shabby for a old led sled farm truck:D

Not bad at all for an old truck with fat tires up front. The DA on that pass was around 1700'. The track was hooking good today but not great. Hers the info you requested:

it is a 1973 chevy stepside, 350 bored .60 over, home ground camshaft 272,286 durations with about a 420,450 lift. weiland old school "x" intake, 750 holley DP. and a turbo 350, 2800 stall, 12 bolt 30 spline rearend with 4.10 gears. here is some pics of the truck:

nice...i wander what my truck would run...

i have a 460 big block...bored .40 over..with cam.. heads that are ported and angle milled .60 over ... perfomer rpm intake with 750 dp carb.....long tube headers...and 2 and a half inch exhuast....

408 sbc. dart heads, 2.02/1.60 - 200 cc - 64 cc. dart intake. steel crank, forged eagle rods, forged srp's. arp studs everywhere, comp 274/284 - .501/.510 solid. and all the other little goodies.

i think you better get your story straight before you start bumping your gums and telling lies:eek: i have nowhere near 275 shot on my shit and if i did the hyperutectic pistons wouldnt like it to much i dont think. besides that i wouldnt be bragging about your times on a full roller 408 with 14.1 compression brodixs heads only running 7.30s:eek: i have over 120,000 miles on this motor and it has chevy cast heads on it with 9.1 compression. and a completely stock bottom end and and its just a 350. So you just keep talking and i will be getting some wider rims here pretty quick and we will see what happens. oh and just to let you know the motor isnt even tuned yet, that will be worth 2 tenths with that problem corrected:D oh and what happened to the 6.30s?

It's ok! I know my car is slow, I didnt brag about anything running 7.30's! My car has 3.42's in it and ran those times in second gear. I thought that was pretty impressive my self!

So I tell you what, you keep flappin your lips about what ever you want! I still think you will never ketch me even if you put a nother stage of NOS on it!

As for the 6.30's!!!!! They will be here in the near future! You never know what I have up my 9:5:1 compresion solid roller motor with the aluminium heads! I will be faster than you have ever even imagined going! I think It will smoke your old stock KX6R that would run over 180 mph!

Poll Question: Who in here has to fill there 10 pound bottle after 4 1/8 mile passes? Nobody unless they have a serious ass leak, TRICK! ANd you say you are only sprayin a 150 shot:rolleyes:

when did i say i was runninga 150 shot? i dont remember that but i do know that i dont have to fill my bottle ever 4 runs, that would get expensive. keep bumbing your gums if it makes you fell better, i understand that you are emotionally unstable about the fact that when i tune my shit in right i will giving your the flashers:D

Ok so far you have ran no where near a 7.29@94...... My car is just as untuned as your car is and I am still faster! Hell I dont even see you no where near the 6's! After this weekend we will see,and as useual you will be in my rear view mirror recieving the flasher's.;)
