Actually we put together a turbo LS1 at the shop with 5 psi and a T63 and its a fucking BLAST to drive with only 400HP @ 3600LBS. I can only imagine the hard on I will get from a T88 @ 2600lbs :)

Who cares when its gonna be done, its still gonna be slower than my Z. ;) Who would have thought a bunch of upstanding, dope smoking young men at AMS could have such good welding skills?Isn't AMS supposed to be out of buisness right now? :D

You forgot to add ARH into the equation.
Damn, nick. That does look very nice. Props.
You'll probably have to reweld that in 2058 when the car actually runs....

I think that Silver SS did a best of 9.7 today.... not bad for a little 346....:p

Thats what I heard too, Heard it has two nitrous bottles in the back.

think that was a single stage though.... thats what Nick told Jackye..
Andrew

That isn't that good. I've only got 2 more cubic inches and I've been 9.0's. Plus he has an LS1 and I've just got a small block ford.

Andrew...this is our street car. If you want to get technical, Keiths black MUSTANG ran 8.6 @ 165mph 5 years ago, on a single stage of nitrous weighing 3280. Where you at now wiring boy?

Car ran two 9.7s and a 9.8 when we were low on bottle
FOrged internal 346 with a single stage of nitrous.
And if you want to get apples on this then just watch for our outlaw LS1 car coming soon to a track near YOU! :)

Closer to what, causing an electrical fire in your engine compartment??
Gutted out Mustangs are a dime a dozen...especially one as junky as yours. Sure, it goes 9.0's.....but so did everyone else with a Mustang in the 1990's. You and Al-P can start your own antique shop with your cars and equipment! Think of it as a way to save money for new wiring :D

Sorry buddy, you are mistaken. You heard WRONG. Chris and Keith said none of the such. And ya know, doesn't even matter if you come on here and lie, when we spray the second stage, you will know by the number on the timeslip....

Car only has a stock pump and a booster right now...once we get the fuel system on the car next week, we will use it at the track. Jetted LOW on both stages, it made well over 700rwhp...but at an air fuel we can't use right now. Thats why we only used one stage at the event. Just wait :)

For the car to MPH 139 through a Glide and the 3420 race weight you claim the car was making everybit of 700+ to the wheels. I would like to believe you but it isn't possible. Alan Futral was making over 700 at the wheels and the difference in MPH is just the difference in running a 6spd over a glide. Jay Johnson's 9 second passes on the old set up were through a glide with the car making 600-650 and and weighing 3000 #'s he was only trapping 134. I don't understang why you guys insist on lying about your setup, and you wonder why you get such a bad rep on these boards. The car is impressive reguardless.

Why must I be lying, because the car runs good? It makes over 450rwhp on motor alone, through an unlocked convertor! This is a very potent heads/cam combo that we have on the car...which works really good with the setup we have. The car is setup to run on bottle...which is why it takes such good advantage of the power we throw at it.
I tell ya what......lets go to the track...bring $1000 bucks. I will take the dry solenoid OFF the car, and it will run a 9.7 or BETTER. Want to wager?

BTW congrats on the passes, Chris!

Thanks man! This was our first trip the 1/4, and our only 2nd run on the car at all. We got the car together in 2 weeks, which is why we didn't have time to get both stages complete. Im looking for 800+rwhp when done....hopefully enough to go low 9's :)
