We at Forced Performance in McKinney are wondering if there would be any interest in a group dyno day- either very low cost or freebie. There is parking for ~50 cars, trailer unload/turnaround/parking area for ~ 10 trailers.
Dynojet 248C above ground with 4 post lift.

Isn't intended as dyno *time*, more of a *dyno day get-together club thing*- strap it down, 2-3 quick pulls with quick adjustments. Even if you did 1 car every 1/2 hr, there's only time for ~20 cars.

That is all I need... I just need 2 or 3 pulls to do what I need to do...
Thanks,

OK, if there is enough interest, elect/bribe/draft an event organizer and let's talk about schedualing etc.

Dec. 6th is out, there is another local club schedualed for that day. We'd need at least 2 weeks notice to clear the calender, etc.
Experience tells me it will take 1-2 months for you guys to get it all together with your own personal scheduals and whatnot.
A Sunday isn't out of the question.
Among the ideas that are being tossed around are an in-store gift certificate or other parts prize for Dyno King (or Queen), random drawing, 1st/2nd/3rd, etc.
First thing will be to appoint an event organizer/coordinator and contact us. Its easier to deal with one person than 50 while trying to organize the event.

How about "YOU" organize this event, since you posted this and you can keep up with everyone that has posted.
Any prices yet?

Its real simple- we are going to lose money on the deal, that is a given. Ain't doing it to make money. But at the same time, don't want to lose more money than necessary. Having to correspond with 20-50-100 individuals' e-mails and phone calls makes for a major hassle. When its too much of a hassle it ain't worth doing. If there is an event coordinator on the other end, things run smoother and we don't go crazy and say 'hell with it'.

I nominate Fred since he's Dyno King anyway (with nitrous anyway) unless someone else wants to step up... Fred's was always good @ coordinating shit when trying to get 3 clubs together to race, this should be a sintch

We're not opposed to spending money on club events like this, because the money spent works better than advertizing. Its a simple way for us to introduce ourselves to the D/FW Mustang/Ford enthusiast community, and hopefully gain more customer base, and provide you with a cheap event to attend. Its really a win-win deal when done right.

Count me in as well. If this is after Jan 6, I should have the race car ready to rumble, and it would need a dyno sheet anyway to be legal for the 2004 season.
