How is it illegal? It's a tool for people who reposess cars basically, a friend of mines dad did it and had a similar setup. Makes it a lot easier to get the car up and away from the location before the ppl see you, for some reason they still get pissed when you take the car they haven't been paying for lol. You'd have to be a pretty serious car thief to have a setup like that though

Wasnt trying to bash it, just looked kinda funny.

If I had the money I would buy one, ive sold 2 cars and had the buyers try to stop paying.

having extra keys is always good, but my main problem was finding the cars.

If you run your own tote the note place ive seen a small pager based device that hooks up to the 12v on your car. You would go to a website type in your cars # and it would show its location on a map.

ill see if i can find the site.

they were selling it as a "find out where your kids are" device.

We build and sell the units, if someone missuses the unit other than what it was built for which is reposession, then THEY are breaking the law but the unit itself is not illeagle. If I was in the repo business, being able to retrieve a unit within a matter of 15 seconds and not have to get out of my truck would be a very big bonus you would minimize the risk of confrontation and let the peoeple who dont pay there bills deal with the financer...

Are you just looking for the DFW area? I might consider it up here in the panhandle of Texas(Amarillo and Lubbock).
