Well, it went something like this. I got to the track to and unloaded the car and Andrew asked if I was ready. I was like sure. So after the pro mods ran we drove our cars up to the staging lanes and the tech guy said no test and tune for two hours(due to KOTH & Pro Mods) and sent us back to the pits. Then about 5-10 minutes later they called for test and tune racers. So instead of me and Andrew being the first in line to run while the track is nice and sticky, we get the back of the line. Anyways, we finally get set up to do our burn outs and everything is looking great. Both of us were burning our tires out like we were in a burnout contest so we knew we would hook. But then after I shift from 1st to 2nd during my burnout my car starts to lose power makes a pop and dies. I was like WTF!! I go to start it and it fires up and dies again. Then I try to start it again and I get nothing. So, by this time they tell Andrew to go ahead and run a bye-run and back me off of the track. I was like, there is no way I ran out of gas. But, yes I did. :o  I still don't know how my car ran out of gas because we put 4-5 gallons of fuel in it before coming to the track. I drove my car maybe 3-4miles tops to test it out and we did some tuning as well but I can't believe it ran out of gas. That is just crazy!! Anyways, Relinquished ran all the way back to the pits(at the very end of the track, we were parked in the grass) to get the gas can and get some fuel. Of coarse the fuel guy isn't around so he has to come all the way back to get someone out there. Then he had to walk back to get the fuel, get the fuel and carry 40lbs of fuel back to the staging lanes.lmao Poor guy. So, we put some fuel in the car and finally I get to attempt a pass. It was just going to be a bye-run since they weren't running tnt. I line up and purge the n2o through the motor and it is hitting hard with the 300 shot in the Fogger. I stage, the tree lights up and I mash the button and the throttle at the same time and shockingly the car hooks hard and takes off like a mo-fo!! Then all of the sudden my steering wheel starts to shake hard back and forth and the car makes alot of racket and dies. I am like WTF oh shit I just blew my motor. I pull off to the side of the track and look in my mirror and I don't see any spillage so I just coasted it on down the track. I finally get to a stop and I jump out of the car to look and see what happend. First thing I see is a battery cable dangling with out the battery!! I am like thank GOD!!! My car took off so hard my battery fell out and I ran it freaking over!!lmao That was a big relief. I have been planning on mounting the battery in the back of the car but alot of things have been getting in the way so we had to hold off. I did get a time slip though. I ran like an 11.00 @33mph with a 5.30ish 330ft & a 1.4860ft. That would have been a nice high 1.2x low 1.3x 60ft if that stupid shit wouldn't have happened. But, that is what you get when you rush into thing boys and girls.:) It would have been a good race between me and Andrew because the n2o was hitting tonight. It just seemed like it wasn't meant to be tonight with all of the bs that went on. We tried though.lol

I have all of the stuff to get the battery mounted back there and have been planning on doing it asap, we have just been dealing with alot of problems with the fuel and n2o. Come to find out my regulator was bad on the n2o side and my fuel pressure gauge was bad. So, once we put another fuel pressure guage on it, it read that I was pushing 11psi. When the other guage was only reading 0-6psi (pressure would drop from 6 to 0 when it should have been around 7.5psi & 6psi flowing). I think most of the bugs are worked out, atleast the major ones. I have a Coans Converter and Trans brake on order and they should be here by wed. just incase this TCI converter doesn't hold up to the n2o.

On that pass I went a 5.91 @ 115 with no boost for the last 2 seconds of the run due to a shredded belt... when I figure out what's wrong (got 3 passes to a belt before with the same pullies... I figure I've got a couple loose mouting bolts or something) you're in deep shit!

I thought this race was to be on nov 1st , missed the memo, a 1.2 60 ft takes about 1300 hp and a lot of stick last I checked on a 3300 pound car, Brother inlaw 1.31 60 ft on a 10w with a 514 bb ford with all the good stuff ran 8.62 at 165. 400 shot plate 800 hp motor, most pontiacs wiegh a lot, my gto is over 4000 pounds, Tamers firebird should wiegh around 3400 plus him. sorry I missed the class on were to leave your battery on the track,LoL PS Tamer does have the fastest pure pontiac I have seen on a budget, unlike a ford we are very limited on parts, Hope to see the next race, GTO Marty

This was just going to be a shits and giggles run, not the official race. This was suppose to be my first clean n2o pass. My car is probably around the 3250-75lb. with me in it.;)
