i went 7.84 @ 90 mph does this time to mph seem right? the car launched good then it spun the slicks in second . so i granny shifted to 3rd and it blew the tires off again so i threw it in fourth and i spun through the trap hitting the gas on and off. never would hook. i guess i didnt heat the slicks good .

combo

9# powerdyne
edelbrock heads
cobra intake
stock tb
73 mass air
24 inj.
373

any input would be great

it really felt like the car had alot more potential

90mph isn't enough power to be spinning the slicks in 3rd unless they're stone cold...

learn to do a burnout!!

Don’t sweat-it bro. You’ve just got your tires mixed up, the skinies go up front, slicks in the back.

Just kidding? Are your slicks extremely old/hard? If your truly spinning the tires in forth with that combo, you have some serious suspension problems.

learn to do a burnout!! Agreed! I was lightly hazing mine and I only trap about 15 more mph... lmao!

I used to run 92-94 on motor on Radial T/As, that only spun in first, I deff think it is time for some help in the burn out box, or a call to get some new damn slicks.

the slicks are new but my suspenion is all stock. and yes i probably do need to work on my burnouts in this car . it is a 5spd. and my truck ran 5.94#114 on motor but its got a glide:D

there was alot of moisture last night on the ground cause my car was sweatin bad. so that might of played a part in it.

also on that pass i was letting out of it and shifting at like 4500 in a couple of the gears trying to get it to bite. it cut a 1.64 60ft time
