I have tried everything possible to do this but still no luck! The Rods are hitting the cam lobe's, I havnt even got a chance to check for valve clearence. I am gonna take the short block back apart Sunady and start grinding away!:(

JUst grind the rod bolts band throw it together!!!! :cool:

I know I am not the first person to do this, But why didnt they put a instuction sheet in the box saying :WARNING rods will have clearence issues over a certain amount of lift!

It's that easy, DAMN Summit ROds!

Looks like the Raptor will be out KICKIN ASS and taking names! I just hope she stay's together too! Has anybody heard of a 20 shot of NAWS will do on a 40 hp 660 cc motor? We'll see the blue Raptor is not ready yet so I'll have to bring the slow one(8.78@75) out!

You have to find me first.

It is a 86, dark grey metallic, 124,000 miles. It has 42lbs injectors, chip, 3" downpipe, flows, K&N. Other than that it is stock.
