I'm not really that fast yet, just starting out in the moddin up of the stang, but I finid it exciting to get races for money....yall got anybody up there who races for a little cash? I got a 96 with a 75 shot with noss, its got spark plug wires, and its got the K and N filter. someone drop me a PM or Email me at Kevin@TSSRacing.com

wow, thats like 40 more horsies than me though. i got 267 on the noss when i got it dynoed. how many cars is fair to set me out? i think one car is 10 horse...thats what i was told.

where's redline at? the 1/8 mile track? do they show times? do people race for money out there sometimes.

I put at least 40 bottles through my STOCK 4.6 motor with a 150 shot. Wasnt tell i bought built motors tell i had problems.

I remember just going out to W Heimer right before the big KMart bust and it was a blast. Last few times i've been out there, it has been dead to say the least. I think I might have seen 3 cops that entire night. GN stalling at the line vs a z06 vs some old Truck. Oh well, thats all in the past now with all these new laws, just not worth it.

sounds like you should find out the whole story before opening your mouth. car came from houston on street tires, so traction was a big issue to begin with. while on the freeway to visit a friend he blew out the heater core, we had to drive 35 minutes to help him get it fixed to limp it home, a true ghetto side-of-the freeway fix. if you had to make it 300 miles back to houston, you'd want to do everything you could to ensure you'd make it.

I did think before i wrote what i did. You came on here looking for races, only to have your car break. Maybe you should have trailered it so it wouldnt break. Its not my fault the car broke when you set up races.

Sucks for your friend but i thought it takes a $5 hose to bypass a heater core.
Tell, that quick 96 guy to come out to the Garland GTG this week. I want to see how quick it is since i just sold my "quick" 96.

after the temps shot to 260+ he said he wasn't really confident in it, and it had started to fun funny.

yes, he did bypass the heater core, but all they could find locally was some plastic elbow, it works for the time being, but like I said he had to make it all the way back to Houston, so the car sat for the rest of the weekend before he started it again to go back home.

i wouldnt' be comfortable driving it either at temps that high. there are some really desolate spots on 45 on the way home, i think he made the right decision. he cant control what happens to the car, he'll be back.
