From now on, the selling of satellite cards on this site is prohibited. These constitite theft of service and we do not allow anything of the sort to be sold. The first time it happens, your post will be deleted and you will be warned, the second time your account will be disabled.

i agree with this completely, and if you look on the back of the card, it plainly states that the card DOES NOT belong to you. it belongs to NDS or Direct TV, so it is theft, and i'm sure that it's something that can have some adverse affects to the board or chris, if they wanted to make some examples.

Ebay dosen't take that stance since it's full of cards for sale, dss didn't ask for it's cards back on the last few upgrades, if you buy a box without a card, you can legally put a bought one in and have it turned on through dss. Next, are we going to have to show title to car parts we sell. How do we know all those pool tables for sale aren't hot. How about the cartoys manager that wanted to trade discounted car accessories for parts, that sounded shady to me. I guess I can't sell my bong on here now either, darn. If someone is selling parts to street racers, ya gonna ban them too?

I agree, it is his board, and he can do as he pleases. I might not agree with him, but it's not my choice. I'm sure he does not want to be held liable for any illegal activity on the board.

It's BS.

There is nothing illegal about selling unprogrammed Satellite cards.

There is nothing illegal about selling unprogrammed Satellite cards. If everyone will just keep it to PMs, shouldn't be any problems.

i have only one question about this whole dumb thing, what makes it so wrong to sell an unregistered card, why let people sell guns, especially fully-automatics, why let people breathe, who cares let them live their lives. if people want to break the rules, then they know they will get what they were told they would.

OK, I want to settle this once and for all. It really doesn't matter if it's legal or not or if it's right or wrong, chris doesn't want that stuff posted on here and that's that. Case (and thread) closed.
