Multi-level network marketing, better known as a "pyramid" scheme. I've seen waaaaay too many of them. You have to get in at the top, and sell the "get rich quick and easy" idea. Half the time there is not a decent end product to be sold anyway, and the goal is to get more people signed up under you. They make most of the money on these "buy-ins".
