Anyone know of any good mapping software that is relatively inexpensive that can be used in application development (visual studio .net). < $1000. looking at mappoint right now but it has more support for vb6(shitty) than the .net framework. this will be for a windows app and not the web. thanks.

I think mappoint 2004 has .net support. Not sure though.

yeah I checked into it. 2004 is not based around the .net framework but it is compatible with it as a COM object. I guess I will just try that. Thanks
