My time trial I did an all time fastest.
R/T .500 (still not awake)
60' 1.548(about average)
330 4.440
1/8 6.88
MPH 100.2
1000 9.006
1/4 10.798
MPH 126.06
I figure with the cold weather the car will be running really good so I dial in at a 10.76 just so I don't break out.
1st round
R/T .751 (lights falling 3tenths apart confused me)
60' 1.524
330 4.448
1/8 6.925
MPH 96.03
1000 9.115
1/4 10.942
MPH 124.05
Needless to say his dialin was 11.21 and ran a 11.28 with a .129 R/T I was out first round. :(

DJ told me that was embarrasing for a 408.. :( he's making those times on a 306.

Yeah, well he's probably got aluminum rods, 8500-9000 rpm, and $8k in his cylinder heads too....

Its not a 306 but its still a 302 block. ;) Its a long rod 302 setup.
If you boys only knew how cheap the build up on his motor is. :)

cobra chick your times are great. I am sure with track time they will get better. And i am sure you don't have the money some of those cars have in them. We are on the same boat it hard for us to do the same with such little money. Don't even worry just keep racing and beating your fastes times.

Was that on motor alone? If so, I think those are great times! What are you putting to the wheels?

Yes it was all motor.. Haven't got the coupe to the dyno..
It wasn't working properly the day I got it on there.
WOWZERS  cheaply thrown together 8.9 1/4 car finishing 2nd in street renegade. What does he call cheap?
I think those are good times, don't know what that guys problem was.
what are some of the details on you guys setup? weight? cam? heads? intake? just looking to try and gauge how my setup might turn out. If you don't want it too public please PM. Thanks.

thanks bro, we are very happy with the times as well, considering the c4 is slipping really bad, and leaving on the footbrake...
as far as the setup...and i dont mind displaying it to the public, i am very proud of it and dont mind helping those if i can...
well of course its a 351, bored and stroked...keith craft 408 stroker kit...in a 2900 lb coupe...its a solid roller 408, not positive on the cam specs but i know it was something like 737/747 lift...heads are victor jr's ported by lloyd elliott, valve work done by trevor johnson...comp cam valve springs, titanium retainers, all that good shit...intake is a vic jr also ported to match heads by lloyd...and tapped for a fogger...carb is a 1050 dominator...electric water pump, electric fans...c4, 4200 stall, 4:30's out back...wish i had some dyno numbers to tell you but the dyno at dallas mustang couldnt handle my car...:D

looks stout, the main thing that is going to kill my car is weight(SN95) and the cam(when I built the block it was going to be a daily driver). The cam will change the first time I have to freshen it up and have the motor out of the car. Not to mention the pansy cam the KC gave me. What kind of RPM were you turning with the 4.30 at Ennis?

You have a .734 lift cam in there? If so that is a GOOD sized cam:)
