Claudette (cobrachic) ran the car on sat so i ran it on sunday...what a shitty start to my sunday, wake up and go outside our hotel room and its fucking raining...It would rain on the day that i was suppose to race...But we get there around 930 and chill and they get the track prepped and dried, so i was excited...but only time for one time trial....

Only time trial...

rt .327
60 ft 1.45 (new best 60 ft) :D
330 4.40
1/8 6.88
mph 98.71
1000 9.04
1/4 10.86
mph 124.18

since my previous best at ennis was 10.88 i figured i would dial in at 10.80, my first bracket run...

won...

rt .250
60 1.49 (another 1.4)
330 4.40
1/8 6.88
mph 97.97
1000 9.05
1/4 10.87
mph 124.27 (best of day)

second round, i figured since i ran a 10.86 and a 10.87 i would dial in at a 10.85 since the deeper you go the better the cars can hit there dial in...

won...

rt .071
60 1.53
330 4.46
1/8 6.94
mph 97.95
1000 9.11
1/4 10.94 :( worst of the day
mph 123.81

third round of brackets, i figured since i had just went a 10.9 off from my normal 10.8, i thought the tranny was hott and gonna slip even worse than it had been slipping all day...:( so i moved the dial to a 10.92

lost...

rt .123
60 1.466 (dam another 1.4) :D
330 4.39 (best of day)
1/8 6.86
mph 98.43
1000 9.02
1/4 10.85 (best of day)
mph 123.76

so after the 3rd round i was out but very happy, dam if i would have only left my dial in at 10.85 i would have hit it perfect and went on the to the next round...i think its safe to say my car is a pretty consistent 10.85, 10.86,10.87 car...overall i was very excited about sunday...now time for the glide and then turn on the fogger...:D

congrats man. You did alot better than I did. I never made it out of the first round on both days. I was thinking there wasn't going to be any racing either, and was about to put it back on the trailer and go home.

I thought I saw you car up in the staging lanes but you was getting ready to race, and I was pretty far back.

Awesome Fred, just practice on that tree. That .071 reaction time and a consistant car like you have will be hard to beat.

But I hear ya on the glide and fogger;)

Congrats Fred and Claudette. I see you got ahold of a trailor. Sorry I couldn't get back with you Friday night. I didn't get back home till late and he as using the trailor anyway. :( I was going to tell you though that U-haul rents them for $50 so if you run into that problem again that is something to think about.
