I had a blast today...watching:mad: Anyway, there was so much going on that I missed a lot of good racing. So im just wondering how all the competitors did.

There wasn't any eliminations today I guess because of all the entries for the True Street, not to mention the fact that the track was down atleast 30-45 minutes it seemed like 2 times. There was also another clean up, but that one only took like 20 or so. There was almost a crash because they didn't get the stuff cleaned up right during the first cleanup. All I can say is I can't stand the guy that FF has doing the announcing. I know Eric Stubbs *not sure where he is from* went 8.99 though and then went like 9.3 the 2nd time round.

The sorry ass crew at the motorplex did not even attempt to clean up the water on the track.. It was the older maroon/brown coupe that spilled oil/water on the track.. I could see it from the stands.. and I noticed the Mach 1 that ran immediately after that car had actually shut it off waaaaay early and only ran 89 m.p.h. I think he may have seen the mess on the track.. and then they send a fast car down there.. and what do ya know.. he goes through the mess @ 125+ and wrecks.. all while bsharer watches from the waterbox....:eek:

Yeah, that guy made an excellent save. I thought for sure he was going to hit the wall :eek: cause he was all over the place :( I know Brian had to be hating being in that lane. Anyone know whose 95 to 98 black turbo coupe that was? On Friday, he was parked next to the F355 spyder. I think I counted like 5 cars with parachutes in True Street.

ya motorplex crew sux. They were out on the track laughin and fucking around taking there sweet time. Very unprofessional...
Thats why i liked houston, they acted like they cared about keeping their spectators into the racing. they cleaned up spills quickly and had the classes organized better.

on different note, did anyone of you guys notice/see the DOHC working modle engine that the SVT trailor had? That has to be one of the coolest things ive ever seen! im gonna buy one for sure.

Brian's car is having issues and the 1st pass he went like 11.0. The second pass was WAY better, but he let off for some reason and cruised to a 11.3@fairly low mph. I think he shut it down after like the 1000ft mark or so, but its hard to say for sure. Manny was running around the 9.4 9.5 area. He was having problems building boost off the line. His 60fts were pretty good though.

Manny ran 9.51 on only like 14lbs of boost. They were still tryin to get the air/fuel cleaned up a little better before puttin more boost into it. The black 95Cobra in true street belongs to a kid, his dad drives the Ferrari. It used to have a blown 347, now it has a 91.5mm turbo that is mounted like some outlaw cars with the radiator sideways. I've heard that it has gone 5.50's in the eigth. Also, Mike Murillo was driving it for them.... wtf right???? James from SpeedWorks went 10.95 on motor shifting gears.

Andrew is running pretty good but so far he is still .2X off the #1 list to Manny. I don't remember the exact ET and MPH but it was 9.2x @ 147.8 I think. Still pretty badass. Only a 1.44 60' also. He's definately got more in it. the car is spinning pretty good out of the hole. If he cuts a 1.34 60' he will go 9.0xxx with an identicle pass. Be back out there tomorrow.

If the car has inspection and insurance and has D.O.T. tires and can make the 30 mile cruise it's allowed in True Street. The chuate is only required after the 150mph barrier is broken.

you forgot to mention the fact that mannys #1 pass was w/ his blown setup. since he has a new setup his old time should be cut from the list (per the specified rules at the top of the list) thus bumping andrew up to #1

Well I made it to the third round of Street Ford and then I broke way out in the thirk round. 1st pass was like a 11.69@113.00, 2nd was a 11.64@119.00 and in the third round I dialed a 11.60 and then we changed a jet in the carb. and it picked up really good then(I was just trying to see if it made a difference and I really didn't care if I won or not)and it ran a 11.36@118.00 with me letting out of it cause I caught the other guy by 1000 ft. so I let out and really broke out bad, I really think it had a 11.25 or so and the mph might have been 121.00 or so now I wish I would have stayed in it all the way through. Oh well we had a blast and it was a good time.(so thankful to have had a canopy):)

Stevens car was lighting the tires through what looked like the 330'. Murrillo was driving because he does not have a comp. license yet.

Alot of weird crap in TS, The one car that sprayed oil/water (the freaking announcer started bashing him and wouldn't shutup about it, as if the guy new his car was doing it), The car that slid at the end (great save!), one car lost his entire left side exhaust ( it dropped and he drug it for quite a while then it flew out from under the car towards the guy behind him!), and one guy launched and left one of his tailights sitting at the tree lol!

I ran a all time fastest for my car in time trials.. a 10.79 but Im not the best driver so when I dialed in a 10.76 I ended up messing up and running a 10.9x.. that along with sleeping at the light didn't help me get passed the first round on Saturday..

Also that made me loose my chances at running on Sunday because Fred had to take over. But he did great as well.. I'll let him tell his own story.

93juiced coupe. I don't know if you even know what you are saying. It is forced induction turbo..... Also this was the first time to the track with it. The turbo kit was made in one week in a half. We are are very happy the car even ran 9.51 on drag radial. Can you or andrew do that with 14 psi. on st. tires. And in a weeks time. I am not tring to be an asshole but letting you know what's up. Also we don't really care about e.t as much as crossing the traps first. AND IF YOU WANT SOME OF THE LIL TO 281 COME ON.
ONLY HAS 14 PSI AND A LIL NO TORQ MOTOR. oN ST. TIRES.

Thanks Marty. We tried, we just didn't have enough for the big dogs this weekend. I think within a month or so of track time we can get dialed in the 8's on drag radial. At least the car beat it's fastest time ever on drag radial for the car. With half the boost the pro charger was doing and 7 months less of track time.

I thinks mannys car is for sure gonna be the fastest car on this site by a longshot, but if he went to a trubo then his combo ahs changed (in my opinion) enough to warrent his dismissal from the #1 spot until he makes better than a 9.2x. I think we both know that wont be long!.

Best was an 11.47 at 121 mph on Friday during TT. It was a lot of fun seeing so many really fast cars in one place. I ran well enough on Saturday for 16th overall in True Street.

I live in Midland and haven't been to Ennis in a few years because I needed a roll bar and harnesses, etc. Which I have now. I'll be back next year, hopefully running 10s on a 150-200 shot, LOL.

You guys/girls have some sweet cars. See you again next year.
