i dont know how but some one else posted that under my name it did not ,let me say this again. i did not run 99 mph i wish i knew who posted under my name and how they did it any way it did go 7.41@92.6 spining since the nose is lighter it does not want to transfer with the 250 spring rate springs on the front.im happy for just finishing it but exspect faster times with a little edit and suspention tweeking

Yes its a stock 01 motor with a ls1 intake on it.
Made 311 at the wheels.

That thing is gonna fly when he gets to modifying it and gets the low 60 foots. dang! :)
it should 60 ft better i changed the front springs to a 150 rate last night and lanes put sub frames on it yesterday hopeing for some 1.5s

The car at 60 mph is only turning 1900 rpm.
100 mph at 2300.
Stock internal the car should run 7.0's with FULL interior seating for 5 adults.:cool:

Bryan, you gotta get a ride in that thing, it's so drivable it's sick... that 1900rpm at 60 is with the converter UNLOCKED!
whoever did the edit on the tranny is a pimp... cruising down the highway and nail it, and the tranny downshifts to 2nd INSTANTLY.
the fat powerband of the LS1, the fairly tall gearing, and the converter in such a light car are a match made in heaven... it just flat PULLS!!!
I'm friggin' jealous. :(

BTW - there's a dude on the Corral with a white Fairmont with a 351C that's pretty strong. He's got a cool avatar pic with the wheels up. clevelandstyle is his name I think. Those 'Monts look good white! :)
