Ok!
I want a new kick ass system for my MACH!
I'll go a couple grand, maybe more. It's been a while since I've looked or installed a system, so I'm looking for advice. I'm NOT gonna install this one. I want to leave it to the pros!
GIMME SOME SUGGESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!

It's too bad that the Mach doesn't have an option for the Mach 1000; although you can turn a Mach 460 into a Mach 1000 with a kit from CDC. Those are the two top-rated factory-installed systems in the U.S.

My Alipine rocks though!

When I take this system out you can buy it. The car is only 4 months old and most of the time I listen to the engine music!

You don't wanna keep the original 460 for originality sake? In case you ever sell it? The only reason I didn't get a Mach 1 is because I knew I was going to be driving a lot of miles.. so the collectibility of the car was going to go out the window.

Can a car really be bought as an investment anymore? It may never regain its original value.

Well, if it's purchased as a limited production model, sure. It also depends on if you're storing it or driving it. But I know where you're coming from... over 5,000 of the 03 Mach 1's were built, so it's not like they're anything like an '87 Buick GNX (only 547 produced).

That's the only thing I've offered to sell off this car. I really doubt that this will ever be a collector car. I don't see how ANY new car now a days can be a collector car with ALL the friggin plastic on them. Can you imagine what the condition it would be in 30yrs? DAMN!!!!!!!!!! I just realized that my 84 F150 will be 20yrs old this Oct!!!!!!! Maybe I DO need to rethink a few things about the MACH!
Ok........first thing is to take my gas well out of production, because there most likely be no dino juice for the MACH and a CNG conversion will be in order.................

Some good suggestions on systems. I have some specific pieces in mind and will post them up in a bit. Seem it's prett much a Kicker system with a I think Alpine head unit.

Abso-fuggin-lutely. I've had 3 Alipine units and they were all awesome. I still have the 6-CD changer with 6 CD's stuck in it. (You have to have power to the unit in order to eject them and it has to be connected to an Alpine head unit to receive power.)

You really have to start from ground zero and replace the entire system. The way that thing is wired you are asking for a butt whoopin'.
