View Full Version : Watch out, the Hatch is alive again.....

I had my heads resurfaced and got them back from the machine shoppe at 3pm yesterday. I fired it up at 1 AM...

Should have it on the road today when I get back over there....

1 bad injector caused the first gasket to go...

Too much boost without the accompanying tune caused the 2nd...

Gotta be careful with boosted cars !

Much thanks to Billy for help throwing it back together.

Much thanks to NDSP for using his space on the first headgasket fix.

Much thanks to this dude I met at Speedworks that let me use his shop with full access to anything I needed on this go round.

He was a perfect stranger and saw it blow up and we got to talking and he said I could tow it over there and thrash it out. Pretty cool.....

Man, I don't know.... I like watching FFW better than I do running in it, to be quite honest. True Street class hogs the whole damn day if I run in it.

I am thinking of racing at Denton tommorrow nite, and watching FFW on Saturday, but I haven't finalized my plan yet.

I guess alot depends on the car !

You watch.. you'll see. You'll need to break out the DRS inspired Moncuse X anti-race car check list to make sure you build your car to "spec".
