I need some help with my computer. It is a dell p2(kinda old), I was wondering about how much it would cost to have it rebuilt I guess so its in a better vertical housing and it moves much faster. I just want the thing overhauled and memory added. I used a friends conputer this week and I am very jealous. TIA.

You are going to need to get basically everything new...including a new case. You can keep your monitor, but thats about it.

That or keep an eye out on bensbargains for a good deal on a complete system from Dell. You might also check the Dell refurb outlet. I picked up an Inspiron 1100 2G cpu, 256ram, 15" screen, cdrw/dvd drive and 20gb hd for $911 total with tax and shipping.
