Since inquiring minds want to know, the exchange rate today is 1 IQD = 3.21647 USD. So if each one is 250 IQD there, it converts to $804.12. :eek: I am not sure what kind of tranfer fees or taxes there are though. :confused:

OK, I just got back from Houston last night and still haven't been able to go somewhere where I can get a definate answer yet. The only thing that has given any answers are the currency calculators on the internet, which are showing $800+ for them. Two of these bills are spoken for if those values are verified. I will try to take them somewhere tomorrow.

OK, after calling a couple of places and asking a "hypothetical what if?";)

I was told the best place to check up on any currency rate is "X rates" site on the net.

This is what it shows. (http://www.x-rates.com/d/IQD/table.html) Which is about what the other estimators on the net said.

Like I said, two are spoken for and I'll take offers on the rest.

yea all the currency things probably havent been updated yet, there currecnt wont be worth much if anything but the worth of the paper right now i would think considering im sure they will go to an entirely new money sytem because sadam is on the bills they had

The Iraqi Dinar is not even posted on some sites. They have the BAHRAIN dinar, which is .377 = 1.00USD. I am guessing the Iraqi Dinar is in line with this? I still don't see you being able to walk into a bank and exchange it.

Ahh, found another, more accurate source. The Iraqui Dinar is worth .310857 US dollars. I doubt the Iraqui dinar is even being traded anymore.

Edit... As of Thursday, the US dollar is worth 2120 Dinar. Meaning your 250 dinar bill is worth about $.10 - $.12 USD. :(
