No, that is a different car. The car in question is a Fobra that has a s-351 wing, lowered and slow as hell.

No it's that red one with the checkered flag tint stuff on the quarter windows and the double stack wing. Some mexican drives it...it actually used to be decenlty fast but then he had a bad accident in it and it's just not the same anymore...

lol... I was going to ask about that car. I used to race him about 3 or 4 years ago (last time I lived in Garland) in my wifes blue 82 Z28. Would smoke him on a regular basis. At one time he had a b ig white spot on the doors where you would expect a number to be. I just saw the car again for the first time last week. I was supprised that it was still around.
there also used to be a red GT with white stripes that was lowered and had like 4" tips out the back that I used to beat up on in my Nova about the same time. Is that one still around also?

 The one I ran was actually not all that slow but then again, i'm pretty much stock myself. lol!
I was on Beltline going west and was just in a hurry to get to a club and passed him by going about 40-45. He came up beside me and paced me for a bit and revved. So, I was like....ok, and downshifted to 2nd and let off it a little to let him know I was game and then he floored it and I did too. He got a slight jump but we were pretty much door to door until I was halfway through third and I started pulling. I don't remember how much I put on him but at least a car or two till I guess when he backed off and I just kept going to beat a yellow at Jupiter.
Not too slow for a 95 GT. I've had worse runs against a 99/00 GT. :D
Strange.
