Aparently there has been alot going on that would lend credence to the idea that the turbo hatch is all that I had planned for it to be when I first got it on the drawing board a couple of years ago.

I know that Moncuse X is already planning numerous excuses to either get out of the race, saying something like "It took a power added car to beat an all motor car" or something like that.

I really don't even mind getting 60' by him either.

The tune on that thing is oh-so conservative. He's a splash of race gas (yea, I know, its a race car if you do that), a few degrees of timing and a half a turn on the boost knob away from insanity. Car is freakin' fast.

I would say it would be good for a 7.65 in the 1/8 and maybe a real low 12 second pass as it sits right now.

I have not seen your car in quite some time, it sounds bad ass, are you going to make it out to the Red Line grudge matches on the 5th ? I would like to check it out....It sounds like it will run bad ass once you get a good tune on it...I'm down for a race, I have not been owned by a ford in a while, and I only run 8.0's @ 90

The interesting thing about Chris' car is that it is quieter than mine if that is possible. I guess its a combination of the Bassani X-pipe and the type of mufflers that he has but you can hardly hear that thing idle. You CAN hear that big turbo though.

I think I got the hang of tuning with the PMS, it's not that hard. So I will take the tuning duties over. Then if I blow it up once I start trying to make big power, it's on me.

I am sure I will always be getting advice, though !

Why do you guys even bother asking JC to race, you know he will back out in some way or another. His babysitter stood him up, Yolanda put his balls in the china cabinet for the w/e...etc...

When you guys want to run an LS1, let me know, I'll take it like and man and get an ass-whippin'. One condition....it has to be K-dale. I'm not driving 2 hours to redline to have my ass handed to me.

That last run the Kirk and Chris ran side by side was quite something to see and HEAR. Very cool.

In the end, who really cares. My T/A is my jack around car, so I could really care less if someone hands me my ass in it. I just like getting out and racing other people..win some, lose some. When I lose, I tell them my plugs are old and that I have the gap closed..lol
