Well went out to Kennedale tongiht again and had better luck this time.

1st pass right off the trailer

r/t - .446
60. 1.65
E/t 7.265
mph 95.81 :D

on that run I over rev 1st, so it could have maybe been a better run

next was
r/t .406
60. 1.76
e/t 7.411
mph 95.09

and a couple of other passes that was fair. These passes were foot braken and only stalling it up to about 2200. Also i think my using alittle to big of slicks but thats alright. Right now using 28x 10.5 with 3.73 gears.

After my last pass I notice a leak, well it just had to be my radiator. Oh well I was wanting to replace it anyways. It was just a cheap o pepboys one. Time for an aluminum.

I think with cooler weather and the use of the transbrake I just get into the 6's;)

Well I'm happy I wanted to run a low 7 with theis combo and I did.:D

Thanks guys. I'm just needing more and more track time and alitle better weather;)

Oh 93 Blk Coupe - as long as you don't spray on me. If u do I think it would be a good race, u woul just walk off and leave me. Now you just on motor and with me some more time it might be alright of a race.

93LXHORSE - We can do that some time. Your manily out at Denton right? Right now my only track days are on Sunday's at Kennedale, until I buy me a truck to so I can take it out to Denton on Fridays nights.

DarkPony - I'm just waiting for your freak of a car to pass mine up with some much little done;). And I know it will happen. :D

no spray here for a while, i am gonna keep it all motor for a long time, i am happy with my numbers on motor, just waiting on the new tranny so i can actually launch at a decent rpm, this footbraking it is crap...

thats cool. Yea I need to get used to the transbrake. This time out I just footbraked it. Maybe next time I can use the transbrake. I'm wanting to cut some 1.5 or better on the 60ft with the transbrake, heck I was suprised to even cut a 1.6 with just footbraken. Good ole AOD is doing me just fine.

I'm wanting to be the only mustang on the fastest list to run an AOD. Right now its all 5 speeds, C4's, or powerglides. ;)

thats cool
just a stock 98 explorer short block
TFS track heads ( no port work)
Cobra intake (no port work)
B-31 AFM cam
3.73 gears
S-trim
30lb injectors

thats the basic, it does have alot of suspension work done. So the car drives straight down the track and no wheel stands ;)

The car has no ac, powersteering, or back seat. Just a plain ole race car

Not not yet. I did try the t-brake once, but felt like the car was moving so that ended up like the first time I as trying out the t-brake. Just need more practice. This is a big change from what I was running before. I plan on going back out again Sunday as long as my radiator gets here on time.

My times before all the upgrades were a best of a 8.8 and only ran that once;)

Thanks guys, really looking forward to hitting 6's. I also have a smaller blower pulley I could put on later, but I really don't want to tear up the motor up yet. Thats one reason I'm keeping my shifts around the 5500-5800 mark. I need to get this thing dyno to see where my air/fuel ratio is. I have been just going out to the track and been playing around not even knowing what that is. :D
