Just curious who on this board has the fastest 2v n/a car on street tires (no drag radials). 1/8 or 1/4.

Heh not to flame but once again you guys that think the 4.6 car's run 14's n/a are stupid as shit. 98% of the corralers with 99up gts out of the box run high 13's. Goto www.modulardepot.com as well. ;)

8.5s out at Kennedale still on Nittos w/ stock gear ratio

Again, I have yet to be corrected. No doubt a few of the 99+s can get into the 13s, but not too far without a decent set of tires.

Man sucks being unemployed in IT. I really don't want to run anymore with street tires but drag radials are expensive. Debating going to kennedale tonight with street tires ;)

Yeah I know they are posting with drag radials. Prolly be really hard to bust a 13.99 or quicker with street tires STOCK.

I changed to drag radials 4 days after buying the car. Just seems dangerous to use regular tires that make you go sideways

DUSTIN'S car has went 8.01 @89 with me driving. several 8.05,8.09 also 03 gt with hp heads&cams built shortblock w/ 10:2:1 comp, and a bullit intake. the car has 430 gears and stocktranny t-3650 , once it even ran a 8.2 @91 with terrible 60 ft. on the other passes i pulled 1.81 -1.83 60 ft.

first off, sig check. Granted that was with ET street and basically o/r pipe, gears and u/d pullies and before the LT's I just installed.


ON street tires the best I ever mustered was a 9.01 1/8 and a 14.02 1/4 in shitty weather and a bad tune running really rich.

Stephanie ran an 8.99 on street tires and stock gears with just an o/r pipe.

Now with the LT's and the cams in a couple of weeks, I am thinking about trying for some 12.8's or better and 7.8's because we all have to have goals.

I ran a 13.80@100mph in my old BONE stock 99GT. The ONLY mod was a K&N. Stock Goodgriefs and a race weight of 3540#!:eek:

I ran 13.1@ 105 on 17" nittos with no tune. Also ran a 12.0 @ 117 on 17" nittos. Heads/cams/3.73's. 2nd run was on bottle. Both runs had a 1.9 60ft.
