Question on buffing compounds....

Got a friend with clearcoat overspray on her car.
(Dark green) paint is otherwise in good shape. She has a buffer at home, and wants to get a safe compound to remove the clear, then obviously bring a shine to the paint.........

What is recommended?

Is it safe to try and do this?

Anything to keep in mind regarding application as far as pressure exerted with the buffer, the proper motion, etc?

Not too familiar with using a buffer, and don't want to go wrong first time around !!

I had overspray on my Black GT. Just go get some Meguiars clay bar. Comes in a box with the spray that you use with it. Comes right off. I can't even notice anything on my car anymore.

yeah, that clay bar will do the trick . . . otherwise, you'd have to do some wet sanding and buffing :eek: . . . I try not to mess with that, I'll leave that to the professionals.

Yep forget the buffer. Clay it and then wax it with some Eagle One WET car polish
