same here. I need some examples also. I'd be happy with two 10's. I'd like to see some pics and illustrations where the backseat gets replaced with two 12's or 3 10's.

I'm not sure if 12's will fit in a '94 trunk. In my old '94 I had two 10's and that was a tight squeeze. There was barely any trunk space left. If I were you I would take the 12's back and get 10's with the smallest box possible(except for truck boxes). Two 10's will make plenty of bass for a car of that size.

In a 94-up hardtop, remove the back seat frame and you can get a large box into the trunk by putting it in through the door and then into the trunk. I've done 4-10" and 2-12" this way.

ew you got any pics of that set up?
I don't think so but I do have the measurements.
I've made my box that fits a single 15" JL sub in the back of my Cobra. I think the box is a 1.5 cu. ft interior box. AND I can still access my spare tire. ;):D Like, EW said, you'll have to come in from the door and with the seat frame either removed or loosened to get a big sub box in.
I'll try and snap a few pics of it.

ew how did you get the box with the 12 in there did you have to take out the rear 5*7s and what were the specs on the boxes with the 12s
You must remove the whole rear seat. Then it is no problem.
For 2-JL Audio 12W0's with Mach460 intact, the enclosure was 34"Wx10"Hx20.75"D
Woofers fired up.

This is so much nicer, gives you trunk spaces, sounds AWESOME and looks good. Sounds great since the speaker is made with the box and the amp can be mounted also. Its all made for everything meaning Perfect sound Also will match your cars interior. ;)

Yea but it sounds good and takes up less space and its better than some huge ass box

IMO, the JL Audio Stealthbox is a better option but neither will outperform more and larger drivers that a larger enclosure allows you to use.

Thats the thing though they make the box the exact air space for the sub. So it sounds good.

So does JL. Building an enclosure to the exact air space is a given if you go to a high-end shop or if you can operate a calculator and some basic power tools. Selling a customer a pre-fab box is the last resort, fitment and quality usually suck (JL stealth boxes being the only exception.)

So, because the MTX and JL enclosure is built to the exact specs for 1-10" woofer, it will outperform 2-10" woofers, 4-10" woofers, or 2-12" woofers in the proper airspace?????
What I'm saying is more woofers and/or bigger woofers will play louder and sound better that 1-10" woofer IMO.

Oh yea they'll play louder but I didn't know what kind of sound anyone was looking for I just figured just some extra bass and everything clean. And IMO that would sound good and be VERY clean looking. But you could always put two of 'em in the car one for each side ;)
