Sorry I missed out last night on gaming. Girlfriend called me up and needed a ride home from work so I wound up staying over there last night. Was there a lot of traffic on that server? How many people were playing?

All three servers were full. I only played through one mission that was relatively playable. But too many times I would try to turn a corner, and it'd completely stop for like 10 seconds, then when it came back, I was sometimes dead ... and sometimes just running headlong into the wall :rolleyes:

Part of the problem is they alow modem players. I've got my server listing set to filter out games that alow modem players, and every game I've joined just picking a random server, has been nice, as there was nobody dragging the game down on dial-up.

Josh, when you get your server set up completely, turn that shit off! :D We don't need no modem players. When I was on dial-up, I was at least smart enough to realize that my connection would not be appropriate for online play ... regardless of what the "connection requirements" were. It just amazes me after trying to join some of these servers, the amount of people with 400+ pings that are dragging down the game for everyone else, because they're trying to play on dial-up :rolleyes:

That may keep some people here off the game, but that's an unfortunate necessity if we're ever going to have halfway decent gameplay.

I need to set that up for filtering, some servers were dragging me down even though I had a low PING.

Yeah, there's little check boxes at the top to filter out servers. One click checks it, a second click X's it, and a third click clears it again. Set an X in whatever servers you want to filter, and they won't show up in the list :D

If you don't know what the icons mean, just hover over the box next to them, and it will give you a "pop-up" that will explain what it is.
