and your mother should teach you to be polite. 2 intel cpus 1ghz, 2 decent heatsinks, and a dual board to run them.. ya if i was selling trash i would ask for trash prices.. enjoy your amd.

How much faster would two 1 ghz/133 fsb be? I'm no expert. Would it be faster than a 2.4 ghz/800 fsb with dual channel ddr?

unless you have a reason to run dual mobo's, then it's pointless. 800fsb will be pretty fast and accomodate 90% of the populations home use..

it would not be near as fast at all.... you have to remember only certian programs can utilize dual cpu's... most of the time one sits there not doing a dam thing LOL

This is good stuff for for that money I and many other people can put together a mb/cpu combo for about 1/2 that and run much faster... not doggin your stuff just the price is a little much for what it is...

yes its true this isnt a rig for gaming.. dual cpus is pointless for "most" people that sit humble on windows doing nothing but checking email/browse web and such.. but for people that run it as a server, mysql, .net, video and sound work, a dual cpu works out kinda nice at time, yes with hyperthreading 1 cpu that can act as 2 really comes in handy but still a lil pricey, but thats why im looking into building a new machine with a 2.4c cpu (c for 800 bus and HT) to game with and work on stuff as needed. And like with any computer stuff, 1 year has passed which means to most its worthless compared to whats out now.. but anyways, im far happy to just keep this rig and build myself a new one if need be, was just trying to see if anyone would take a bite at it. Scsi isnt for everyone, neither is dual cpu.. to each his own.

This is probably the wrong place to post this kinda stuff. The computer nerds here know values on used computer stuff. The ones that don't, wouldn't need your setup.

eBay is going to be your best bet. Or dfw.forsale newsgroup. But again, in both places, peeps know the going rates for equipment, so expect less than what your asking.
