I've been strongly considering moving back to linux again, and was reading on Distro Watch that Redhat now charges for package updates?
Anyways... what is the "best" distro these days? I was thinking Suse, Mandrake or Redhat... so now I just want opinions from the few linux users that are on this site. :D

Redhat doesnt charge if you demo. You just have to answer a short 5 or 6 question survey every 90 days per machine.

Ok.. that wasn't made very clear on Distro Watch, so I had to ask. I've used Redhat before and was the distro I liked the most.. so it was my first choice to go back to.

I like RedHat. Never messed with any other distros besides SlackWare back in the day.
