now that i've decieded to stick with the sealed box design as discussed in my other thread, what do you think would be the best upgrade path?
A: purchase a new sealed box and install the older MTX 12" subs which are likely to be ugraded later.
or
B: purchase two new 10" subs and install them into my current sealed box.
questions:
obviously the 12" subs are going to perform better than the 10" subs, but really, how much better???
would a pair of older 12" subs be better, equall or lesser than a pair of newer (but affordable) 10" subs??
what 10" subs would you recomend? i'm not really intrested in spending ANY money on the car stereo, so i would like to keep this affordable. (i love car audio stuff, but i would much rather spend it elsewhere).
if i go with the 10's now will i regret not going with 12's later??
should i think about dual or single voice coil subs?? duals would let me run 2ohm stereo. would this amp abuse be advantageous. actually, i wouldn't call it abuse, the MTX amp is up for it.
thanks in advance!!
