what really sucked was when you closed the gate and we couldn't get in to defuse the dynomite

I am goign to work on an upgraded sdsl package tomorrow if that gets in the works I will publicly post the ip and we can have large games :D

Next time, we need to get better organized with at least one engineer and one medic and having everybody work together as one fire team. There was that one point were I was the medic and I kept reviving everybody and it was working fairly well. But I ran out of ammo for the MP40 :(

Engineer, Medic, and is is field ops that has amo.... they work out very well on the team... you where doing great on the medic once you figured out that you had to revive us with that needle and not just med packs ;)

Ya, we need to cordinate things a little better next time and maybe stay grouped around the medic to stay healthy. Also when I play Engineer I need to get into a habit of planting mines more often.

Ya, it wasn't to bad at all. I didn't experience any lag other than doing the initial map download before playing the game, that took a while.

CS really shines when you go play as close to a reallife simulation as possible. IE, nobody rushes the other side and everyone plays according to the objectives and observes boundries.

I lucked out and found a server where they play like that and it was fun as hell. There were several times as a CT that I would pull hostages and end the round without ever firing a single shot.

It's an old game, but with good maps and a skin-models it works pretty well.

the game play seems fine... i just don't see why I should waist my time with such outdated games... the new ones are so much more grafical and fun.... if you get to playin et and they aren't just running around shooting it tends to be the same way... it is very tatical... last night was on the defence and I have been used to being on the offensive side... it was a large learning experience for me :D

I will leave it up till my connection is hosed... but after 10 days I will have my new 1.1/1.1 and it will be up 24/7 and I will let more than 10 people join...

if you can do a search in the computer forum and find the link I posted for the game download... get the patches and games as well...

it will save the server if you have the maps already....

after I get the new connection I don't give a shit :d

Counterstrike is a Half-Life mod. I was under the impression it was a huge lan party game.

I installed just the base ET install, and found out I needed to update my nvidia drivers.. Did that, and set up a profile then had to go out and eat.

I'll install the patch, and maps, and be ready for some action in a bit.
