I know there are several post on here about broadband and the different providers... well I am starting to look for a new one... I am currently paying for business class dsl at my home for 1.5/768 and it just seems to be going down the tubes..... I don't really need much more bandwidth but I do have to have the upload for a couple websites I host. (abecx, I don't want to colo right now ;))

Can you all post up your ideas and experiences so it will help me decide. As well as any possible hooks ups would be great..

Thanks...

How is your DSL eating it?? Curious to hear any downside as I've been considering HDSL (or possibly T1) before co-locating as well.

Grant you have a PM......

and sean... Aparently my house needs some freshining up on the phone lines... or speak easy is just full of shit and I am further away from the station than they say... but I keep loosing sync with them and my line quality drops I forget the numbers now... but it does really good for a few days.... then starts to drop to a crawl.... so I shut everthing thing down and let it resynce and it works great.... I dunno... I just need to check my options and see what I can get...

Gotcha! A good friend of mine tried DSL not once, but twice and it never worked for him at all until Verizon headed out to his house and repaired/modified an internal line. Funny thing is that all along he thought that Verizon and/or DSL just weren't setup correctly... Best luck getting your issue resolved.

I will probably end up going back to a cable type provider since I can't warrant the T1 costs just yet.... the odd thing is if I unplug every phone in the house my speeds go up..... and they are all brand new phones... just the wiring is not the best... and I really don't feel like rewireing a 5yr old home :-(
