ok, at the end of January i started a diet, then i weighed 293 lbs and im 6"1. after 2 months i got down to 253. i havent been on the diet since and i am back up to 260. i would like to lose another 30 lbs, maybe more. i really dont want to do what i was doing before because it sucked eatin the same thing EVERY day. i exercised a lot and also built a good bit of muscle too. anyone have a diet that worked good for them that didnt consist of eating the same thing everyday? if so, what do you eat and when do you eat each day and what kind of excercise do you do? i plan on startin a diet tomorrow and want to get this weight off within 2 months without starving myself

thanks

to lose wieght, you generally have to create a caloric deficit.
2 pounds of fat / week is a very realistic goal. Each pound of fat represents a 3500 calorie deficit / week.

So to lose 2 pounds of fat / week, you will need to create a 7000 calorie deficit. You will need to do cardio in the morns (best time as it feeds off the fat since you have nothing in your digestive system to utilize for fuel or energy), some resistance training, and dieting.

I won't go into specifics, but theres the information to get you started.

ok, please dont ask people on the board how to lose weight like a moron. no offense, but EVERYONE knows how to lose weight. eat low fat and low sugar foods. EXCERCISE!!!! if youre not losing enough...excercise more.

sugar is your main source of energy, deplete the body of sugar(glucose), it goes to a back up source....FAT!!!!! eat less fat, burn more fat...makes sense doesnt it? i wish i could go up to all the members of jenny craig and weight watchers and just laugh b/c theyre idiots.

PoopNut - thats kinda harsh. Thats what this forum is all about. Helping each other.

If the answer was as simple as what you posted, no one would be fat. There are many other contributing factors one has to keep in mind. Everybody is different.

I posted up some facts a lot of peeps dont have a clue about.

Do some searches. Myself and many others have posted on various weight loss strategies.

There are ALOT of people in this world who are genuinely ingorant in the ways of healthy dieting. It seems simple to you PoopNut, because you've already learned the knowlege. People are not born with the knowledge of what to eat, it is learned through their parents and surroundings. If they weren't raised in a healthy setting they won't have a clue as to what a calorie or saturated fat is. Nor will they know how to reduce them.
