I think that the grudge matches need more organization at the track. Maybe StangTamer can keep a list (like NDSP’s fastest list) of who is racing who and the rules of FNG. At the next FNG, we can get the announcer to call us all to the staging lanes to pair up at a preset time (like 10:30pm or so) in certain lanes. That way nobody misses a race or has excuses. Start a “grudge match” thread the Monday before the race and if someone calls someone out, and the other person accepts, they go on the list to race that Friday night at the FNG. It becomes “official” at that point. Some people get to the track late, some get to the track early, but if everyone knows what time the FNG races start, there’s no excuses. That may help end some of the 16 page pissing match threads the day after FNG. Anyone else have a better idea or want to add to this idea?

yea but if they did that, then some people would not have anything to piss and moan about.

How about having it on a Saturday night when KOTH runs? Very few cars out there lastnight. I'd say less than a 100, maybe fewer. Track was also much better this Saturday compared to last Saturday and I'm sure it was a ton better than Friday night.

I was thinking the same thing Kirk. I would like to set something up like that. I would like for the people who have a grudge match to either pm me or post up in the grudge post that they want to race someone and whoever they ask needs to except the challenge. Then I can edit my first post and let everyone know who is accually going to race. Because alot of the time I get the feeling that one person is scared of racing and the other person is glad of it. I just want confirmation that two people both agree on racing each other before I edit it. What I would like to see is someone post up and ask a simple question for example: (302paf asking) Monsoon X will you race me at the grudge? (MonsoonX replys) Yes. Then I will edit the first post and have 302paf vs MonsoonX. Also I would like to setup times that they would race. Because alot of people have more than one grudge to settle. So maybe have grudge matches set 8:00p.m., 9:00p.m., 10:00p.m., and 11:00p.m. Also, some people might like to do a best of three as well. So, that way all of the people that want to watch a certain grudge will know when they are accually suppose to race. It is pretty easy to miss a grudge match with 100+ DFWstanger there. Also, I will give the announcer a sheet that shows who is racing and at what time and they can call them to the line.

For one, KOTH cars make our cars look like turds. Two, it is more expensive. Three, refer back to rule one. Though I don't think anyone would be complaining about it hooking.:D

Only $15 to run lastnight. The staging lanes were basically empty, only a handfull of frontwheel drive cars there and I don't think anyone really cares if the KOTH cars make our cars look like turds. They're full blown racecars, there's no comparison to our streetcars. With as few cars as there was Sat. we would become the show! The pits were only a little over half full so everyone could possibly park together as well.

I would think it would be easier to do this on a Saturday anyway. You would have more time to prepare during the day and would not have to fight Friday traffic to get to the track! I would gladly pay an extra $5 to do this on a Saturday. If money's a problem, just buy a gallon less race fuel or skip lunch at Taco Bell a couple of times during the week.

Lets move it to Kennadale for a few months so we can get some traction!

I can see the point with a Saturday race as well. On a Saturday, it could be either K-dale or Denton but not Redline (unless I can find a trailer).

Not everyone lives on the west side or north side. Maybe it should be on a rotating schedule .....like KOTH.

Get the track to have one lane setup for Grudge matches for the night, like the farthest lane or something. That would make it easy, and even call out who is up for the next match up.
