Well, went to the lonestar BMW auto x today and there weren't any of you buttheads that talked about going out there.....yes it was hot out on the asphalt but I had an absolute blast.......

Class Y was full with vettes and some nice older f-bodies and 3 lonely mustangs. Johntheaggie was there and with a little more power, I think he will be catching and passing me in the short future.

Should know the results by Tuesday but my passenger axle seal has given up the ghost and puked diff oil all over my brakes and wheel... Rear brakes arent' that effective anyway right?:D

I kind of wish that more of you guys were into auto x because the BMW guys aren't all that friendly and the vette owners aren't liking the fact that a little bolt on GT is kicking their butts.......

<----Will keep representing the American Pony car in the field of German and Japanese road rockets.....

sounds fun, wish I had a car that could do it. :D That shit cost more then dragracing.

maybe I could throw some springs, and 17's on the kia, and come out and woop up on all those miata's :D

actually, there weren't many miatas this time......there are alot of S2000's though.

I am getting better and in class y, I am doing well for being on street tires. To get any faster I need better shocks, stiffer springs and r compound tires. Then I need to figure out how to remove weight from the front of the car.

You probably won't need 17's on the kia.....get some low profile 16's and some tires and you could beat on it all you want. The auto wouldn't be much fun though!!!

Mineral Wells Airport west of Ft.Worth.

Sadly, for future events you must be a bmwcca member but the money you save more than pays for the membership.

Events run once a month and usually have about 60 cars show up. Nice long courses not like the ones that are REAL tight and short.......this groups courses have some area for High powered cars to stretch their legs and some technical areas to make you sort out the car for handling.....A great combo in my mind.
