View Full Version : Who would put their screen name on their car?

Since I'm struggling getting to know other Board members, I've decided that I would molest (although only slightly!) my Capri by putting a small "cele3" sticker on the back passenger side glass if others will do the same.

Would others do the same?

I think license plate frames would be the way to go on that. Like you I am not real big on putting stickers on my cars. Something like DFWstangs.net on top and screen name on bottom.

My car already has my name:D , but that would make GTGs easier for new people if we did that.

if its for car meets and stuff, print up some of these and put it in the window or under the wiper blade or something

I think some kind of sticker or something would be a great idea. I'm pretty easy to spot since i'll have the only primer/silver 79 trans-am out there (open headers, can't miss me) but when there are lots of stangs it's hard to remember which car goes with which person until you meet them.

I think a license plate frame would be hard to see in the dark.

Several times i've found out that there were people I wanted to meet @ denton racing the same nights I was and I never saw them.

I was thinking of a way to know a fellow dfwstanger on the road!! i want to get the dfwstangs.net sticker but i am not to crazy of putting stickers on my car.. but ill do it!!!

just waive at any stang on the road to know if he is a DFWstanger.... I dont know anyone on the forum and I see many stangs on the road and I wonder if they are on the board and who they are... it would be cool to be able to spot people...

That would be pretty cool, or small decals below the DFWstangs.net sticker. Usually at the Pappas meets I have no idea who I am talking to or just for get what the said their username was:rolleyes:

I dont like the bigass rear window stickers ive been seeing a lot of lately. are there some smaller ones for the 1/4 glass or something? that wouldnt be too bad. not really a big fan of putting stickers on my car either. i would never put my screenname on my car. "poopnut2"? c'mon.

Mine would look cool, but that would kinda defeat the sleeper quality I've tried to maintain. That and I rarley get out to the track as it is.

Who says everyone has to have the same form of identification. If you don't have a problem putting a sticker with your user name on your car then do that. Or if you would rather have a license plate cover then go have one of those made. If neither one of those suit you then get yourself a DFWstangs shirt and put your name on it. This way everyone can choose how they would prefer to ID themselves. Bottom line if you try to get everyone to do the same thing not everyone is going to do it and you will still run into the problem of not being able to recognize someone. Just my.02

I have DFWStangs sticker on my Ram Quad Cab window. That really throws them off! :D
Since my car is not a daily driver, or weekend driver or any driver at that.............for now ;)
