Ok--well I had a bad night at the track. I couldn't figure out where all my power had gone. We realized we had an electrical problem which resulted in the ignition cutting out and an under dash fire! Hopefully we'll have everything back together for next week.

So--who else screwed up their stuff?

I know Andrew pitched another belt (can you say chain drive--LOL).

That's all I know of for sure. Chime in if you had a less than perfect night---I prefer to think I wasn't the only one.

Street Heat:

Suck ass would be an understatement for my night. Worst runs I've ever made in my car since the 347 was assembled. Track was slick and I couldn't get my fuel pressure to remain constant. Hence, no NO2. (Although the track would not have handled it.) Bottom line is extreme disappointment. I really wanted to race Andrew, sdun and DRS.

Saw you run and noticed you were having some difficulties. Perhaps you'll feel better knowing your weren't the only one!

I threw a blower belt rolling out of my burnout which took out the alternator belt. I had an extra blower belt, and thought I had an extra alternator belt, but I didn't.

On the good side, the car goes pretty straight now. My 6.2 @ 116 shakedown pass was boring!

BTW:

I've added a thread to the Garage Forum outlining the problems I'm having with inconsistent fuel pressure delivery. If ANYONE can offer some advice, please post up. I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks,

Rob.
